A growing offering of beer and brewing seminars teach skills like cigar pairing, food pairing, experimental brewing and a Cicerone workshop. The Glendale Tap continues their annual tradition of hitting the closing weekend of LA Beer Week HARD with a lineup of amazing breweries pouring beer that you really just don’t see all together on the same taplist anywhere in LA. Out of town breweries like Cellarmaker, Moksa, Great Notion, and Interboro along with some local favorites like State, Homage, Highland Park and more.
By making the event one-day-only, all efforts can be focussed on making sure it is the very best it can be. By ridding this event of a currency (RFID/Tokens) for beverages, not only is there no opportunity for the currency to fail , but the guest experience is maximized in that they don’t have to pay for any drinks once inside the event. This will also drastically reduce line-ups at each booth, if there will be any at all.

There are a bunch of fun Father’s Day beer events going on around town, but our pick of the week is the Father’s Day Carnival going down at LA Ale Works in Hawthorne. They’ll have entertainment for the kids, the Dodgers/Cubs game on, plus 25 taps of their delicious beer, a Michelada bar, and special dad-themed beer slushies.
People that bought tickets for our postponed 2020 and 2021 edition can hold on to them, they’ll serve as entrance ticket to the 2022 edition. Santa Monica’s Flower Child is running an awesome promotion for the month of April to benefit Girl is Not a 4 Letter Word. In addition, they will be featuring a pink-colored lemonade called “THE KICKFLIP” in their honor throughout the entire month. After a successful run in New York the interactive art museum will post up in Downtown starting April 22.
The 2023 LA Beer Festival will take place at LA Center Studios Studios from Noon to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm. It’s not beer week unless you hit up a beer pairing dinner. This one comes to you from Mikkeller DTLA featuring the delicious yet scarce brews of Humble Sea. 4 courses, the menu looks awesome, and this is a great way to close out Father’s Day.
